The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) signed an agreement with Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do to host the 2023 Gumi-Dodram Cup professional volleyball tournament.

The 2023 cup competition will be held from July 29 to August 5 (women’s division) and August 6 to 13 (men’s division).
Gumi City was the home of LIG Insurance, the predecessor of KB Insurance, from 2005 to 2017.
With the decision to host the cup competition this year, a professional volleyball match will be held in Gumi for the first time in about six years and four months since March 2017.
